Bridal Couture
What is meant by Bridal Couture?
The term bridal couture was originally used to refer to a wedding gown designed specifically for one person by a well-known bridal couture and then skilfully worked by a team of experienced seamstresses to fit perfectly.
It is also a term which in its narrowest form refers to only a handful of designer houses in France and nowhere else. In modern day the term is often used to refer to any wedding gown designed to be unique. The idea is that you will be the only person with that specific dress.
We import bridal couture from Europe ensuring style and elegance that will not be matched by any other dress. The garments are fitted to the individual measurements of the bride making for a perfect fit.
Be warned though there are too many suppliers of wedding gowns that obtain them from Asia and sell them at a costly price. The price tag alone doesn’t make the dress unique. There should be no other then it is unique. It must reflect your individual taste and style. As such you will pay more, but when comparing your dress to one of the mass produced dresses you will see the difference in quality and finishes. It is your day and if there is one time that a compromise will not suffice then it is on your wedding day.
Select your bridal couture carefully as the day will be remembered by guests for years to come and if the wedding gown is sub-standard that is what they will remember. Let them remember your day because of the elegance and quality that should be part of any wedding day. |
