Bridal collections for next year
Bridal collections for 2009 have been introduced in the spring as is the case with any haute couture. In Europe, it is the time of the year where garment designers offer viewings of their latest designs while the boutiques compete to get all the best bridal collections.
We have been in the fortunate position to get top quality designs which are much sought after by the elite and the glamorous actors. These garments can be viewed at our boutique and some are also on display at our online gallery.
The latest trends in bridal collections indicate colourful sashes, Victorian corsets, beaded waists and lovely lace. Strapless somehow will stay fashion, but V-necks are becoming quite popular. The inspiration for the 2009 bride runways is to be found in nature. Heavy beading has been replaced by floral effects, pleats, ruffles, origami, bows and also effect drapes.
No longer will only the rich be able to afford in fashion jewellery as handmade wedding jewellery is now also fashionable in line with the inspiration from nature. Handcrafted jewellery gives the extra flair although the Victorian styles will still demand crystals, pearls, and diamonds.
For 2009 the wedding garments will be eclectic. If you have however, already bought your wedding gown do not despair as the fashions slowly transform and what is still in fashion in December 2008 will be so in 2009 as well.
